Best place for flight training near Miami
I am looking to start my flight training soon and I really want to be in the South Florida area. The weather seems perfect for it there. I am struggling to choose a specific location though. Does anyone have experience training around Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale? I want a school that is close to the major airports but not too chaotic for a beginner. Any suggestions?

You should definitely look into the North Perry Airport area. It is situated perfectly between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I recommend checking out Pelican Flight Training there. They have access to four runways and it is a great mix of busy airspace and quieter training zones over the Everglades. It is a very solid helicopter school in Miami area that offers consistent flying weather, which really helps you rack up hours fast.
