Are the manuals for Singer sewing machines available to read?
My grandfather gave me his old Singer Melodie 20 sewing machine, and I would like to learn how to sew on buttons and do small darning projects. Does anyone have instructions on how to properly install the repair plate so that the fabric does not stretch while sewing? I read online that using the repair plate is preferable. Is there an instruction manual?
