ePlay Announces Latest Howie Game Submitted for Apple and Google Review

It also announces intention to delay the filing of financial statements according to security regulator COVID-19 relief for issuing companies.


ePlay Digital Inc. (CSE:EPY) and (OTCMKTS: NWKFF) announced today that its latest mobile game developed in collaboration with Howie Mandel has been submitted to Apple and Google for review. The game is the second in the Howie’s Games series featuring “Games from the mind of Howie Mandel”. Once approved and released, the company will provide further information.

Outbreak, the first games in the series, and the new game are part of the The Breakout the Masks Charity Campaign which was co-created by Mandel to get much-needed masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to doctors, nurses, and front line workers. The Instrument provides a 45-day extension for periodic filings normally required to be made by British Columbia reporting issuers on or before June 1, 2020.  Filings covered by the temporary relief will include annual and interim financial statements, annual and interim management’s discussion and analysis, annual information forms, technical reports, and certain other filings. 

The company also announces it intends to delay the filing of its annual financial statements, its management's discussion and analysis relating to its annual financial statements, its annual information form, and chief executive officer and chief financial officer certifications, all in respect of its year ended Dec. 31, 2019, beyond the prescribed deadline of April 30, 2020.


The British Columbia Securities Commission and other provincial securities regulators are providing exemptive relief for periodic filings as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.  The exemptive relief available to reporting issuers in British Columbia is contained in BC Instrument 51-515 (the “Instrument”).
